Glenn Kessler's 32 Pinocchios and the Continuing "What Is Socialism" Debate
A lot of content went out yesterday.
Glenn Kessler wrote a piece fact-checking the response to the Mercatus report about Medicare-for-All. Bruenig initially spotted 3 errors in Kessler's report and then later 2 more errors. Kessler corrected his piece, but the Washington Post still has a video version of Kessler's piece up that contains one of the factual errors Kessler has corrected in his piece. That too needs to come down.
Bruenig also continues his now 6-piece back and forth about what socialism is and whether the Nordics have it. This piece appears to conclude the debate with substantial agreement: the Nordic countries have socialist institutions that cover a large portion of their economy but they could extend them further still.
