People's Policy Project is Working on Non-Compete Impact Litigation

On May 30, the General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board published a memo indicating that, in its view, overbroad non-compete clauses applied to non-supervisory employees violate the National Labor Relations Act.
Matt Bruenig, a formerly NLRB attorney, has helped a pair of radio hosts who quit their jobs, formed an independent podcast, and were then sued by their former employer, to bring a possible test case on the theory to the NLRB.
